Welcome!
I am a human who enjoys and feels grateful to be able to work with other humans. I often take on many roles when working with others, and often follow their lead on what they feel is needed. I can be a listener, teacher, guide, advocate, and helper. Together, we can work towards a life that feels more worth living!
Sometimes in life we can get stuck. We might feel very sad, fearful or angry, and it can lead to feeling very alone. We can develop thoughts about ourselves and others that further isolate or disconnect us. That’s not to say that others always react well either, but sometimes we forget what we can and cannot control; what choices we do have; and what we CAN do. We can get stuck in patterns due to not being connected with ourselves and what we can control such as our reactions, our thoughts, and how these influence our feelings!
I have worked in multiple settings including: community/in-home, residential treatment facility; outpatient treatment facility and outpatient programming and with diverse populations, including individuals with mental health and substance use concerns. I enjoy working with anxiety/PTSD; depression; dissociation; trauma; OCD; domestic abuse/survivor; addictive coping concerns: substance use, gambling, shopping, etc. I have found that I also enjoy working with eating and body image concerns; self-esteem and self-worth; developing healthier ways of coping with challenges; building awareness of self and influence within relationships; developing healthier, and more effective responses based on intense emotion.
Having worked in many different settings has allowed me the privilege of being able to work with people who have varying concerns. This has taught me about peoples’ experiences and struggles, but I like to consider myself an ongoing learner, as this helps me to stay fresh and able to best serve others!
If this seems relatable to you, or if this has got you wondering about yourself and patterns you could be experiencing that could be holding you back from further engaging in life, please reach out and consider scheduling a session with me!

Somatic Therapy
Somatic therapy uses a combination of bodily, emotional and cognitive processing to identify and work towards releasing stuck emotions and tension in the body. Speaking isn't required, however you are welcome to share as you process if this feels fitting for you. You get to lead and together, we will both follow where your body needs to go to process. This process will also be centered around grounding to allow you to feel supported and can lead to taking a deeper dive with yourself. Somatic therapy has components of mindfulness, meditation, increased awareness of your body and emotions, along with learning to release negative or uncomfortable emotions stuck or stored in the body. Somatic therapy can be considered a trauma informed therapy due to how it allows you to access parts of yourself influenced and impacted by trauma to help heal in additional ways.
Brainspotting
Brainspotting (BSP) is a gentle, yet powerful client led approach that reduces body and emotional pain and suffering. It uses the brain and body’s self-scanning, and self-healing ability to dismantle trauma, stressors, limiting beliefs or subconscious wounds to free the mind and body to create wellness. BSP can be used to find and strengthen resources, as well as enhance positive feelings and body sensations. (Please also see our trauma treatment page for more info)
