Community is such an important part of the healing process. Our nervous systems are actually hard-wired to attune to & heal within community with others!
The collective nature of group healing fosters a sense of connection and solidarity, helping us feel less isolated in our struggles. By witnessing each others’ journeys and offering mutual support, we can gain new insights, validation and strength, increase our awareness, empathy and sense of belonging. Shared healing process leads to greater emotional resilience, improved mental health and a deeper understanding of ourselves. Ultimately accelerating our own personal healing journeys.
Be Well's collective offerings provide a supportive and heart-centered environment where we can connect, share experiences, and engage in mutual healing and collective wisdom.
weekly group soma yoga
Soma Yoga is a gentle, trauma-informed practice designed to help you connect with your body in a safe and supportive way. Weekly classes invite you to slow down, enjoy a gentle stretch, and maintain or increase mobility through mindful movement.
Classes focus on a full-body stretch using beginner-level yoga poses, with thoughtful modifications and optional advancements to support your unique body and needs. Katie guides each class with slower, intentional transitions between poses, emphasizing choice, body awareness, and compassion. A portion of each class is dedicated to building strength and mobility, supporting both stability and ease.
Led by a licensed trauma therapist, Soma Yoga integrates mindfulness and nervous system awareness throughout the practice. Each class concludes with an optional guided meditation and savasana, offering space for rest, integration, and deep relaxation. No prior yoga experience is required—just a willingness to move gently and listen inward.
